Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working on a brand-new, challenging route. No more 5-day loops around a single city, but a linear rally with 8 stages, giving drivers, co-drivers, and mechanics a fresh landscape and new tracks every single day.
Mark your calendars: April 9–18, 2026. Administrative and technical checks will take place on April 9 and 10, followed by 8 epic specials from April 11 to 18.

THE ROUTE : MDC2026 – THE DUNES EDITION
Next year we’ll start exactly where the 10th edition ended last April: in Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa. A centuries-old city full of kasbahs and souks, beautiful hotels, and plenty of space for shakedowns and a prologue just a stone’s throw from bivouac 0. Tempting, right?
One key piece of feedback from the satisfaction survey was the wish for more dunes. Wish granted! That’s why the 2026 edition comes with the tagline “the dunes edition.” Expect breathtaking sandy tracks and oueds, as we visit nearly all the major dune areas Morocco has to offer.
But don’t worry: while 4 to 5 out of the 8 stages will feature dunes, 85% of the route will still take place across other terrains – fast, technical and varied: endless sandy plains, canyons, mountains, dusty oueds, and Morocco’s most stunning landscapes.
After 8 days of adrenaline and adventure, the rally will end 2800 km later in Saïdia, on the Mediterranean Sea. While the vehicles are safely stored in the secure marina, we’ll honour the winners and party until sunrise in a brand-new all-inclusive 5-star hotel. Let’s celebrate!
