FOTON Made Remarkable Overseas Achievements in 2023

According to Fu Bingfeng, executive vice-president and secretary-general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China’s exports of automobile vehicles are likely to surpass 5 million to hit a record high this year. Total sales of heavy-duty trucks reached 910,000 in domestic China, up 35% and 27,5000 units of heavy trucks in overseas market, up 60% YoY in 2023. This is partly because intense domestic competition prompted Chinese automakers to actively explore potential overseas markets.

In the first 11 months of 2023, Foton’s overseas sales reached 115,740 units, ranking among the top three Chinese export brands. FOTON has ranked first in commercial vehicle export for 12 consecutive years. FOTON Auhawk and Aumark ranked No.1 brand with the highest sales volume in overseas market for years, and became the preferred model for users in Southeast Asia, Africa and South America. In Chile, its mini truck holds the largest market share; In Columbia, Foton AMT heavy-duty trucks held the largest global market share. In Bolivia, Foton has the No. 1 market share in heavy trucks……The remarkable results FOTON achieved in 2023 make it a well-deserved leader in the global market.

As a pioneer in the field of commercial vehicles, FOTON has launched the global green logistics solutions to accelerate the transition to new energy vehicles. FOTON is focusing on building an industrial ecology including “Traditional Energy + New Energy, Brand + Technology, Equity Joint Venture + Technology Cooperation, Supply Chain Synergy Going Overseas”.
