SANY Launches Its First Mining Truck with 300-Ton Payload– SET320S
On July 10th, the energy-efficient SET320S hybrid electric wheel mining truck was formally unveiled and accepted at Sany Heavy Industry’s Shenyang Industrial Park. The ceremony was attended by a number of key leaders including Xiang Wenbo, Party Secretary and Chairman of Sany Group, Chairman of Sany Heavy Industry; Qi Jian, Director of Sany Group, Vice Chairman of Sany International, Chairman of Sany Heavy Machinery; Zhang Zhihong, General Manager of Sany Heavy Machinery; Yin Li, Director of the Mining Research Institute; Sun Hao, General Manager of the Marketing Company; Deng Wenxu, General Manager of Overseas Marketing Company; and Huang Xianhui, Director of the Mining Truck Research Institute. The event concluded with a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially launch the truck.
The SET320S, introduced as a hybrid energy-saving electric wheel mining truck with a payload capacity of 300 tons, represents Sany’s latest development in heavy-duty mining vehicles. Following the successful development of the SET150S and SET240S electric wheel models, it marks a breakthrough into larger tonnage categories utilizing the “multi-power coupling” hybrid technology. This innovation is designed to meet the operational demands of various open-pit mining conditions both domestically and internationally.
During the tour, Xiang Wenbo, Chairman of Sany Group, attentively listened to detailed explanations from the engineers and even took the opportunity to test ride the hybrid electric wheel mining truck. Impressed by its performance, Xiang expressed his satisfaction and conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the development team, commending their dedication and hard work.
