The entry lists brim with familiar champions, hungry challengers, and exciting newcomers. After winning the season opener, Gareth Woolridge/Boyd Dreyer (Castrol Ford Rally-Raid NWM EVO PLUS) aim to defend both their overall and Ultimate FIA T1+ Class leads, backed by Brazilian teammates Marcos Baumgart/Kleber Cincea and Wors Prinsloo/André Vermeulen.
Chasing hard are Saood Variawa/Francois Cazalet (Toyota Gazoo Racing Hilux IMT EVO), fresh from a runner-up finish and a strong showing at the Baja Aragón, and their teammates Guy Botterill/Oriol Valdearcos, eager to bounce back from mechanical issues in Round 1. Multiple champion Giniel de Villiers and navigator Dennis Murphy (#TeamHilux Toyota DKR Hilux T1+) return to hunt for podiums, while Fouché and Bertus Blignaut (Toyota DKR Hilux T1+) are determined to rebound after a tough start.
Red-Lined Motorsport fields a strong chase group: Jayden Els/Johan Swemmer (REVO T1+ GTR) look for clean runs, the Dutch pairing Dave and Tessa Klaassen (Daklapack Rallysport REVO GTR) chase their first points, and German veteran Jürgen Schröder returns in his WCT Amarok with Stuart Gregory.
The Ultimate T1+ SA Class has doubled in size, bringing more contenders: leaders Johan and Werner Horn (#TeamHilux Rally-Raid), runners-up Marco Himmel/Francois Schoonbee (Red-Lined Navara Evo), podium threats Danie Ludick/Denzil Williamson (Red-Lined Revo T1+), plus Gary Bertholdt/Henry Köhne (Hilux IMT EVO), Philip Botha/Andries Mynhardt (Red-Lined Revo T1+), and Schalk Burger/Armand du Toit (King Price Xtreme VW Amarok).
In the Adventurer Class, leaders Johan and Sean van Staden (Renault Duster) face pressure from Johan de Bruyn/Adriaan Roets (Red-Lined REVO T1) and new entries. Peet Victor/Van Zyl Jonck and Abrie/Iaan Olivier debut their Red-Lined VK50s, Belgium’s Vincent Vroninks/Dave Berghmans (VK56) aim for more points, and Martin van der Vyver/Victor Ficham (Ford Ranger) join the national fight.
The Challenger Class sees just two entries: Henk Klaassen/Gerhard Schutte (Daklapack Rallysport Taurus T3Max) and Nielen Marx/Rikus Hatting (Ford Ranger).
Both days begin with the Falken Wild Peak Prologue at 08:00 to decide the running order, followed by two challenging stages separated by a short service. The start/finish, DSP, and race control are all at Stonehenge River Lodge, offering spectators the perfect vantage point to witness dust, speed, and championship drama.
Two days. Two races. Over 800 kilometres. And double the rewards. The 2025 SA Rally-Raid Championship is about to turn up the heat.
