SuperPanther Secures Dozens of eTopas 600 Orders at IAA 2026
SuperPanther secured orders for dozens of eTopas 600 all-electric heavy-duty trucks from European customers during IAA Transportation 2026, held in Hannover from September 14 to 20.
The largest order came from Austrian transport and logistics company GARTNER KG. On September 18, GARTNER signed an order for dozens of eTopas 600 trucks at the SuperPanther booth. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in early 2027.
SuperPanther has been expanding its operations in Europe step by step. The company began with real-world road tests, delivered its first European-made trucks in July 2026, and has now secured multiple bulk orders at IAA. The new orders mark further progress in bringing the eTopas 600 into everyday fleet operations.

The official theme of IAA Transportation 2026 was “We DELIVER!” For SuperPanther, the theme also reflects its results at the show. The orders show growing customer interest and mark the start of the next stage of production, delivery and customer support.

GARTNER Orders Dozens of eTopas 600 Trucks
Founded in 1918 and headquartered in Lambach, Austria, GARTNER is one of Europe’s major transport and logistics companies. It operates more than 2,700 tractor units and 4,000 semi-trailers, with a transport network covering multiple European countries.

The eTopas 600 order is part of GARTNER’s efforts to reduce emissions and move toward an electric fleet.
Christian Gartner, Managing Director of GARTNER KG, said:

“As a family-owned company with more than 100 years of history, we take a long-term view of our business. Sustainability, innovation and economic responsibility are key parts of our strategy.
“We chose to invest in the eTopas 600 because it meets our high standards for efficiency, reliability and everyday operations. It can also make an important contribution to reducing carbon emissions in the transport sector.”
Dr. Michael Ruf, President of SuperPanther Europe, said:

“GARTNER’s decision further shows the growing role of high-performance electric commercial vehicles in professional fleet operations.”
Expanding Sales Channels in Europe
During IAA, SuperPanther also signed a cooperation agreement with BAS World, a leading online commercial vehicle trading platform.

Under the agreement, the eTopas 600 will be listed on BAS World’s online platform. This will give more European customers access to vehicle information and help them explore purchasing options.
Strong Interest at the SuperPanther Booth
Beyond securing orders, SuperPanther used IAA as an opportunity to meet with customers, partners and industry professionals from across Europe.

Transport companies, customers, business partners, media representatives and other visitors came to the booth throughout the show. Discussions covered the eTopas 600, core technologies and the future of intelligent heavy-duty trucks.
A red eTopas 600 specially prepared for the show attracted considerable attention from visitors.
Bringing “BORN INTELLIGENT” to Life

Under the theme “BORN ELECTRIC. BORN INTELLIGENT.”, SuperPanther presented both its current production vehicles and technologies under development for the next stage of its business.
Exhibits included a next-generation electric drive axle, a high-voltage domain controller, an integrated thermal management system and a technology demonstrator featuring several advanced technologies. Together, they highlighted the company’s ongoing work in electrification and intelligent vehicle systems.
During the second half of the show, SuperPanther also held interactive robot demonstrations at its booth. The activities attracted visitors and offered a more direct way to experience the “BORN INTELLIGENT” theme.
From production trucks and core components to future intelligent technologies, SuperPanther aimed to show more than a single vehicle. It presented a broader technology roadmap linking today’s products with the next generation of trucks.
Supporting Trucks in Real-World Operations

Putting electric heavy-duty trucks into daily fleet operations requires more than the vehicles themselves. Charging infrastructure, energy supply and aftersales support are also essential.
At IAA, SuperPanther set up a dedicated area to showcase its ecosystem partners. It presented solutions together with charging and energy companies, including SINEXCEL, ELMI Power and Sungrow.

The cooperation focuses on charging, energy supply and other needs that arise when electric trucks enter daily service. These solutions are intended to help customers operate electric fleets more effectively.
Vehicle delivery is only the first step. Reliable charging, continuous vehicle operation and long-term technical and service support are also important to SuperPanther’s expansion in Europe.
As IAA Transportation 2026 draws to a close, SuperPanther leaves the show with more than visitor attention. The company has secured new orders and strengthened its engagement with customers, partners and the wider industry.
