China exports June 2026: BYD catches up on Chery

BYD Auto is the second largest Chinese exporter in June.

China exported a record 1,037,000 new vehicles in June, up 75% year-on-year. Chery continues to dominate the charts but sees its share fall from 22.9% to 18.1%. 17,000 units below is BYD, whereas the gap between the two OEMs was 23,000 in May. Geely Auto rounds out the podium above SAIC Passenger Vehicles and Great Wall Motor. Tesla China ranks 6th, distancing Changan, SAIC-GM-Wuling and Leapmotor while Dongfeng closes the Top 10.
