Team manager Nicolas Delencre: “Having five vehicles at the starting line is truly a highlight in our team’s short history. In fact, we’re just a group of good friends, all passionate about the VW Beetle, and all from Belgium, who want to take on this adventure together. The entire story of the three Dunbees is also Belgian. They were originally designed by Stéphane Henrard, an early rally pioneer. Later, they were sold to the G-Rally team of Guillaume de Mévius. Last year, we took them over and further developed them into what they are today: fully modernized and high-performing FIA-approved T1s. The other two “VW Beetles” are true “old timers,” both of which have participated in the Dakar Classic.”
“We are ready to tackle the Moroccan tracks with passion and determination,” says Nicolas.
