On March 20th, Zhou Xin, General Manager of SAIC MG Brand Division, released official images of the brand’s new compact car, the MG4 EV, on social media. This vehicle adopts a new design language and is built for the global market.

Looking at the exterior, the front face of the car inherits the pure electric design concept of the MG Cyberster. The closed front grille, combined with the uniquely shaped headlights on both sides, provides excellent recognition. At the same time, the car’s front hood features multiple raised lines, and the lower sides have air intake shapes, creating a good sense of muscle and sportiness. From the side, the car uses traditional door handles and is equipped with double five-spoke wheels. In the rear, the new car is equipped with a continuous taillight and an “arrow” light shape similar to the MG Cyberster. A split small spoiler is installed on the top of the roof, with a high-mounted brake light in the middle.

In terms of body dimensions, the new car has a length, width, and height of 4395/1842/1551mm, and a wheelbase of 2750mm. In terms of power, the declared model is equipped with a single-motor pure electric power system. The motor model is TZ180XS1001, with a maximum power of 120kW, and uses a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. We will continue to report on more news about the new car.
