Denza has officially accelerated its European expansion, announcing plans to cover over 30 countries and establish more than 150 retail outlets by the end of 2026. To support this growth, BYD is rolling out a massive global infrastructure project, aiming to build 6,000 overseas ultra-fast charging stations, with 3,000 of those dedicated to the European market to ensure a seamless charging experience.

The brand celebrated a major milestone with the European launch of its flagship mid-to-large sedan, the Z9GT, at the historic Palais Garnier in Paris. A key highlight of the event was the debut of Denza’s latest ultra-fast charging technology in Europe. The system is engineered to provide a significant boost in just 5 minutes and a full charge in only 9 minutes under normal temperatures. Even in extreme cold conditions of -30°C, the charging time increases by only 3 minutes, effectively eliminating range anxiety for winter driving.

The Denza Z9GT is now available for order on official websites in seven countries, including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, with a starting price of approximately €115,000 (approx. $121,900 USD).

The vehicle is available in both single-motor and tri-motor configurations. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 370 kW, while the tri-motor variant features motors with outputs of 230 kW, 310 kW, and 310 kW respectively. In terms of range, the pure electric version offers a CLTC range of up to 1,036 km, while the plug-in hybrid model achieves a CLTC range of up to 401 km. The Z9GT is packed with advanced technology, including the DiSus-A intelligent air body control system, the second-generation Blade Battery, AEB emergency braking, and the “God’s Eye” 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system.
