On April 20, the new TANK 700 officially launched in the Chinese market, offering three trim levels with a price range of 428,000 to 508,000 RMB ($59,920 – $71,120 USD). Early buyers can take advantage of a launch package featuring six exclusive benefits valued at up to 50,000 RMB ($7,000 USD). This update introduces the 2.0T plug-in hybrid Hi4-Z version while retaining the high-performance 3.0T Hi4-T variant. The new model also significantly upgrades its luxury and tech features, incorporating a “fridge, TV, and sofa” interior philosophy alongside advanced LiDAR technology to cater to both off-road enthusiasts and family users.

The exterior design continues to draw inspiration from “Oriental Power Aesthetics,” utilizing a “Kirin” (mythical auspicious beast) design language. The front fascia features a polygonal grille with dot-matrix black elements and “Kirin Eye” mechanical laser headlights. These headlights consist of 260 LED beads that rotate to open, providing a laser high beam with a maximum illumination distance of 260 meters. The aggressive lower bumper and hood vents emphasize its rugged, wide-body stance.

From the side, the TANK 700 maintains its iconic “boxer” silhouette. It measures 5105mm in length, 2061mm in width, and 1985mm in height, with a 3000mm wheelbase and 22-inch wheels. New color options include the exclusive “Dunhuang Green,” alongside nature-inspired shades like Peak Green, Basalt Black, and Distant Mountain Grey. The rear is equipped with a “Royal Kirin” floating spoiler, horizontal taillights, a side-opening tailgate, and an external spare tire.

Inside, the cabin features a symmetrical layout wrapped in premium materials like suede headliners, genuine leather seats, and real aluminum trim. The “Coffee Vision” 7-screen ecosystem includes a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen, HUD, a streaming rearview mirror, and a 1.39-inch LCD clock for the front. Rear passengers are treated to a 17.3-inch 3K ceiling-mounted entertainment screen and a 7-inch armrest control screen.

Comfort is a top priority, with 20-way power-adjustable front seats and rear seats that recline up to 141 degrees. All seats feature heating, ventilation, and 10-point massage functions. The front seats can fold flat to create a “bed” mode for mobile cinema or business meetings. Additional luxuries include a 5.4L smart fridge (-6°C to 50°C) and a 21-speaker Coffee AI Sound system with a peak output of 2440W.
Safety and intelligence are handled by the Coffee Pilot 4 system, which utilizes LiDAR and a VLA large model to enable full-scenario NOA (Navigation on ADAS) and memory parking. The new Coffee Night Vision 2.0 can detect objects up to 300 meters away and identify 20 types of small animals in the dark.
Under the hood, the new Hi4-Z variant features a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system paired with a 3-speed DHT and dual motors. It carries a 59.05kWh ternary lithium battery, providing a WLTC electric range of 190km and a total range of 1191km. The 3.0T V6 Hi4-T version remains the performance leader, delivering a combined 385kW and 800N·m of torque. Both versions offer robust towing capabilities, supporting up to 2500kg with braked trailers.
