On May 27, Voyah announced that the Private Customized Edition of its 2024 Dreamer MPV will officially launch on June 1 during the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show. The new car will adopt a four-seat layout following the other high-end MPV models such as the Denza D9 Pioneer Edition and Zeekr 009 Glory Edition.
Currently, the 2022 Voyah Dreamer Private Customized model starts at 639,900 yuan (88,300 USD).
In terms of appearance, the Voyah Dreamer Private Customized Edition is based on the 2024 Voyah Dreamer model, featuring a dual-color body and a large straight water-fall grille. As its name suggests, the new car will also support personalized options and customization, and the options are expected to include different floor materials and starry sky roofs.
Inside, the rear will have two independent aviation-grade seats equipped with a headrest. Amenities including an in-car refrigerator, a retractable large entertainment screen, and retractable speakers will be present.
The official powertrain configuration has not been revealed at this time. For reference, the current Voyah Dreamer is available in EV and PHEV variants. The PHEV model is powered by a 1.5T engine and dual electric motors, with a total system power of 420kW (571 hp) and peak torque of 840 Nm, and offers a 1,231 km CLTC comprehensive range. The EV variant adopts a dual-motor layout with a combined maximum power and torque of 320 kW and 620 Nm, paired with a 108.73 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, providing a 650 km CLTC cruising range.
In 2023, 26,518 units of the Voyah Dreamer were sold, ranked as the 192nd bestselling vehicle in China. Compared with Denza D9’s 2023 cumulative sales of 127,840 vehicles, the Voyah Dreamer has a subpar performance. Furthermore, in April 2024, the Voyah Dreamer only came in as the 9th bestselling MPV in China.
