GAC AION has officially launched the 2025 AION Y Plus, featuring four models with a price range of ¥99,800 to ¥123,800. The new lineup offers three battery range options: 430km, 510km, and 610km.
To celebrate the launch, AION is offering a variety of preferential policies, including a battery warranty, a maximum ¥26,000 trade-in subsidy, a ¥5,000 insurance discount, zero down payment options, and one year of complimentary in-car entertainment data.
The 2025 AION Y Plus maintains the same dimensions as its predecessor, measuring 4535mm in length, 1870mm in width, and 1650mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2750mm. A notable change at the rear is the updated taillight design, where the brand logo is now integrated into the center of the light cluster and illuminates.
Inside, both front and rear seats can be fully folded flat, and the rear doors open nearly 90 degrees for improved access. The driver’s seat now includes ventilation and heating functions. The in-car system’s UI has been upgraded, now supporting Carlink/Hicar connectivity and displaying traffic light countdowns on the navigation. For driver assistance, the vehicle features automatic following and adaptive cruise control. Additionally, the exterior rearview mirrors offer automatic folding and heating capabilities.
The new AION Y Plus provides two power options: 100kW and 150kW. All models, except the entry-level variant, will be equipped with a heat pump air conditioning system. All three range versions (430km, 510km, and 610km) are powered by lithium iron phosphate batteries.
