The filing images for the all-electric version of the Buick Electra L7 have been revealed. Previously, the Electra L7 was only available as an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV), priced between 173,900 and 219,900 RMB (approximately $24,000 – $30,400 USD). The newly introduced pure electric model will feature an 800V high-voltage architecture, come standard with 6C fast charging across the entire lineup, and utilize CATL’s Qilin batteries. It is scheduled for market launch in the third quarter of this year.
The all-electric Electra L7 maintains the same exterior design as the EREV version, adhering to a minimalist aesthetic. The front fascia is equipped with a LiDAR sensor, suggesting it will likely feature the same advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) as its EREV counterpart. This system, dubbed “Xiaoyao Zhixing” and built on the Momenta R6 flywheel large model, offers capabilities such as “seamless urban NOA” (Navigate on Autopilot) and comprehensive parking assistance for various space types.
In terms of dimensions, the new vehicle measures 5,032 mm in length, 1,952 mm in width, and 1,499 mm (or 1,507 mm depending on configuration) in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
Regarding performance, the pure electric Electra L7 is powered by a single motor producing a maximum output of 282 kW. It is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery from CATL and boasts a top speed of 220 km/h.
