On April 22, Cadillac officially launched its large luxury electric SUV, the VISTIQ, in Shanghai. The new vehicle is available in two configurations, both featuring a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, with prices ranging from 468,800 to 508,800 RMB (approx. $64,662 – $70,179 USD). The VISTIQ adopts a three-row, six-seat (2+2+2) layout. While the entry-level model focuses on long-range efficiency, the high-end trim offers performance upgrades including a high-performance braking system and larger wheels.
### Bold American Luxury Design
The Cadillac VISTIQ follows the brand’s signature design language for its new energy vehicle lineup. It features a closed “Black Crystal” shield grille with a shield-shaped mesh structure. The split-headlight assembly is highly recognizable, incorporating vertically oriented LED flowing light strips that emphasize its wide stance.
From the side, the VISTIQ utilizes a sleek two-tone design with hidden A, B, and C-pillars, while the D-pillar remains body-colored to create a floating roof effect. A sharp character line runs the length of the body, complemented by black wheel arches. The high-spec model is equipped with massive 22-inch dual six-spoke wheels wrapped in 295mm wide tires, housing Brembo high-performance six-piston calipers. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5222mm in length, 2026mm in width, and 1799mm in height, with a substantial wheelbase of 3094mm.
The rear of the vehicle maintains a squared-off, commanding presence. It features Cadillac’s iconic vertical taillight design, mirroring the front lighting signature for a cohesive look. To improve maneuverability for such a large SUV, the VISTIQ is equipped with Active Rear Steering (ARS), significantly reducing the turning radius. The model is available in five exterior colors: Gilded White, Obsidian Black, Shadow Green, Storm Gray, and Royal Blue.
### High-Tech Interior and Premium Comfort
Inside, the cabin is dominated by a massive 33-inch curved LED display. Audiophiles will appreciate the 23-speaker AKG Studio audio system. Functional controls for seat adjustments, ventilation, and heating are elegantly integrated into the door panels.
The second row features an 8-inch functional control screen located in the center console area, along with independent entertainment screens mounted on the back of the front seats, supporting a wide range of apps. The 2+2+2 seating configuration ensures ample space for all passengers. Front seats come standard with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, supported by a five-zone climate control system. Cargo space is versatile, offering 430 liters behind the third row and expanding to a maximum of 2,271 liters. The seats retain the “American luxury sofa” feel, featuring premium leather textures, wide shoulder and lumbar support, and contrast white stitching.
### Performance and Intelligent Driving
The VISTIQ is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering a maximum output of 443 horsepower and a peak torque of 805 Nm. This allows the large SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.75 seconds. Both variants are equipped with a 95.7 kWh ternary lithium battery pack. Depending on the wheel size and configuration, the CLTC range is rated at 573 km and 601 km, respectively.
Notably, the VISTIQ is the first Cadillac model to feature Momenta-powered advanced driving assistance. It also debuts a cabin-integrated “hidden” LiDAR system, supporting high-level pilot assist and navigation functions.
