Chery has officially announced that its new large five-seater mid-size SUV, the Fulwin T9L, will hit the market on April 13. The vehicle, which has already opened for pre-sales, is offered in four configurations with a price range of 139,900 to 169,900 RMB (approximately $19,300 to $23,400 USD). The T9L stands out with its advanced HSD all-scenario assisted driving system, the Lingxi intelligent cockpit, and the powerful Kunpeng AI super-electric hybrid CDM 6.0 system.
In terms of design, the new model adopts a fresh aesthetic featuring a closed front grille and sleek “Dot-Ink” headlights. The rear profile is highlighted by a full-width OLED taillight design, while the lower bumper incorporates a hidden exhaust layout. Measuring 4870/1930/1710mm with a wheelbase of 2920mm, the T9L is available in six exterior colors, including Mountain Mist Purple and Lake Blue.
Inside, the Lingxi intelligent cockpit is powered by a 3nm chip and features a wrap-around dashboard, a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and a floating central touchscreen running the Fulwin UI 2.0. The cabin is designed for luxury and entertainment, offering a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted screen for rear passengers, a 256-color ambient lighting system, and a 23-speaker AI Boya sound system with 7.1.4 panoramic sound and 1080W output.
For driver assistance, the entry-level model comes with the Falcon 200 system, while higher trims feature the Falcon 500. Top-tier models offer an optional upgrade to the Falcon 700, which includes a roof-mounted LiDAR and the Horizon Journey 6P chip. This high-end setup utilizes 27 sensors to provide 560 TOPS of computing power, enabling advanced features like urban NOA, highway NOA, and full-scenario automatic parking.
Under the hood, the Kunpeng CDM 6.0 hybrid system powers the vehicle. The entry-level version pairs a 1.5L engine with a 160kW motor for a combined output of 242kW, while other versions utilize a 1.5T engine and a 260kW motor, delivering a robust 375kW. Equipped with a 32.7kWh battery, the T9L offers a CLTC pure electric range of 135km to 230km and an impressive combined range of up to 2000km. The chassis features a front MacPherson and rear all-aluminum H-arm four-link independent suspension, complemented by CDC electromagnetic damping for superior ride comfort.
