Fangchengbao Tai 7 EV Flash Charge Edition to Launch April 29: Rugged Design Meets 469-Mile Range

The Fangchengbao Tai 7 EV Flash Charge Edition is officially set to hit the market on April 29. Previously, the vehicle opened for pre-sales with a price range of 220,000 to 250,000 RMB ($30,350 – $34,490 USD). This new model features BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and advanced flash-charging technology, offering a maximum pure electric range of 755 km (approx. 469 miles) for the two-wheel-drive version.

The Tai 7 EV Flash Charge Edition continues the brand’s “Titanium Energy” design language, emphasizing a rugged and bold aesthetic. The front fascia is equipped with dual-layer headlights and a full-width front bumper featuring an H-shaped silver skid plate, further enhancing its off-road character. As a pure electric vehicle, it also introduces a front trunk (frunk) to improve storage practicality.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4999mm in length, 1995mm in width, and 1865mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2920mm. It boasts an approach angle of 24 degrees and a departure angle of 25 degrees, balancing urban commuting needs with light off-roading capabilities. The rear design echoes the front with double L-shaped taillights, an external spare tire carrier, and a side-opening tailgate, preserving its rugged DNA while ensuring convenience.

Inside, the cabin adopts the “Interstellar Ark” design language, complemented by ambient lighting to create a high-tech, sci-fi atmosphere. The core of the interior is a massive seven-screen linkage system, including a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 26-inch W-HUD, an AC knob screen, a rear AC control screen, and two optional 13-inch BYD Pads for rear passengers.

For comfort, the Tai 7 is equipped with “Soufflé” four-layer architecture seats and cloud-feel headrests. The front seats support heating, ventilation, and massage functions, while the rear seatbacks are electrically adjustable. Additional premium features include a 4.5L hot/cold refrigerator, a 20-speaker Devialet audio system, an active fragrance system, and the “God’s Eye” B-Advanced Driving Assistance System (Lidar version).

The Tai 7 EV Flash Charge Edition offers both single-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD) and dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations. The RWD version delivers a maximum power of 300 kW, while the AWD version pushes out a combined 515 kW, allowing for a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph). All models are powered by a 105.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack. The RWD variant achieves a CLTC range of 755 km (469 miles), while the AWD variant offers 675 km (419 miles). The chassis features a front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension setup, integrated with the DiSus-C (Yunlian-C) intelligent damping body control system.
