
Li Auto has officially unveiled the new Li L9 Livis, with the flagship SUV set to hit the market in the second quarter of this year. Priced at 559,800 RMB (approximately $77,500 USD), the Livis variant pushes the boundaries of the L9 lineup with advanced hardware, including four LiDAR sensors and dual “Mahe 100” chips, each delivering a massive 1,280 TOPS of computing power.

In terms of design, the L9 Livis retains the familiar silhouette of the current model but introduces a more sophisticated aesthetic, highlighted by a new two-tone exterior paint option and a striking “Titanium Gold” finish. The vehicle features a signature three-color star-ring light bar and a redesigned matrix headlight cluster. Measuring 5,255/2,000/1,810 mm with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm, the SUV is equipped with premium touches like an electric trailer hitch, retractable side steps, and 22-inch alloy wheels.

Technologically, the Livis model introduces UWB near-field sensing, which works in tandem with the LiDAR array and intelligent driving chips to replace traditional ultrasonic sensors, significantly enhancing safety across all driving scenarios. The dual 5nm Mahe 100 chips provide a combined 2,560 TOPS of computing power, which the company claims is three times the effective performance of the NVIDIA Thor-U platform.

Under the hood, the extended-range powertrain has been optimized. The pure electric range under CLTC conditions has been extended to 420 km, with a total combined range exceeding 1,500 km. The vehicle utilizes a third-generation 1.5T range extender and supports 5C ultra-fast charging. Furthermore, the 800V fully independent active suspension system allows for individual wheel height adjustment, effectively neutralizing body roll during cornering and preventing nose-dive during braking. The vehicle also features a full steer-by-wire chassis, including four-wheel steering and electronic braking, ensuring stability even in extreme conditions.
