Li Auto has officially released its Q1 2026 supercharging report, highlighting a major milestone: the company’s first automated charging station is set to be completed and operational in the second quarter of this year.
According to the official images released, the automated charging station features a robotic charging arm mounted above the charging stalls. The robot appears to move along an overhead rail system. Once a vehicle pulls into the stall, the charging port cover opens automatically, and the robotic arm identifies the vehicle, autonomously plugging the charging connector into the port.
While Li Auto has yet to disclose further technical specifications, the company continues to expand its charging infrastructure rapidly. As of the first quarter, Li Auto has deployed over 4,000 supercharging stations with more than 22,000 individual charging piles. This includes over 570 high-speed 5C supercharging stations, equipped with more than 4,700 5C charging piles.
