Wuling Bingo Pro Pre-Sales Begin: A Chic 5-Seater EV with 403km Range Starting at $8,100

On April 14, the Wuling Bingo Pro officially commenced pre-sales, offering four different configurations with a price range of 58,800 to 72,800 RMB ($8,110 – $10,040). The new model is expected to officially hit the market within the second quarter of this year. Positioned as a “refined and colorful ride,” the Bingo Pro features a five-door, five-seat layout and fills the gap between the standard Bingo and the Bingo S.

In terms of exterior design, the Wuling Bingo Pro centers on a “neo-retro” aesthetic. The vehicle’s lines are clean and rounded, creating a full and vintage silhouette. The front fascia features circular LED headlights with a three-segment light strip, blending classic elements with a modern tech feel.

The side profile is accentuated by semi-hidden door handles and petal-shaped wheels, balancing retro charm with contemporary fashion. The rear design echoes the front, featuring a small retro spoiler that enhances the car’s agility and aerodynamic performance. The ruby-textured rectangular taillights provide high visibility at night.

The vehicle’s dimensions have been upgraded to 4050 x 1758 x 1580 mm, with a wheelbase of 2560 mm. Compared to the current Bingo, the increased length and width provide a better foundation for interior space. The exterior paint utilizes an eight-layer coating process for a rich, delicate texture, available in four personalized colors including Hepburn Green and Roaming Silver.

Inside, the five-door, five-seat layout optimizes space utilization, making it more suitable for family outings. The cabin features 25 flexible storage compartments, along with practical configurations such as a dedicated front trunk (frunk), umbrella slots, magic hooks, and a wireless charging pad.

The interior is available in Light Beige Brown and Caramel Coffee color schemes, with large areas covered in skin-friendly soft materials. The cockpit is equipped with dual 10.25-inch integrated screens, an electronic column shifter, and “Cloud Soft” wrap-around seats, creating a comfortable yet high-tech atmosphere.

For smart features, the Bingo Pro is powered by the Ling OS system, supporting AI voice interaction, CarPlay/CarLife smartphone integration, and remote vehicle control. Safety features come standard with ESC (Electronic Stability Control), tire pressure monitoring, a rearview camera, and hill-start assist. Higher trims add a 360-degree panoramic camera and front side airbags. Comfort features include a power tailgate, rear air vents, a 6-speaker audio system, and keyless entry.

The powertrain and range are the core upgrades for this model. The Bingo Pro is equipped with a front-mounted single motor producing a maximum power of 65kW—a 30% increase over the standard Bingo’s 50kW motor—enabling a top speed of 130 km/h. It uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with capacities of 31.9 kWh and 37.9 kWh, providing CLTC ranges of 330 km and 403 km, respectively. The entire lineup supports DC fast charging, taking only 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and supports 3.3kW V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) external discharge for outdoor scenarios.

### Competitive Analysis

The Wuling Bingo Pro targets the 60,000 to 90,000 RMB ($8,275 – $12,415) electric hatchback market. Its primary rival is the BYD Seagull. The Bingo Pro’s core advantage lies in its space and practicality; its five-seat layout solves the limitation of the Seagull’s four-seat configuration. While the 403km range is on par with the Seagull, the BYD model typically offers a slight edge in standard safety features like side curtain airbags and four-wheel disc brakes across all trims.

Another newcomer is the Chery QQ3 EV, launched in March 2026. The QQ3 EV features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and advanced driver assistance systems, with a slightly higher range of 420 km. With a limited-time starting price of 58,900 RMB ($8,125), it poses a strong challenge to the Bingo Pro. However, Wuling’s brand reputation and the Bingo Pro’s specific focus on family-oriented utility remain strong selling points for urban commuters and young families.
