Xiaomi’s second car was revealed as the company applied for a sales license in China. Along with the first pictures of the production version and key specs, the name was also revealed: Xiaomi YU7.

Xiaomi YU7 will be manufactured in the company’s only factory in Beijing, Yizhuang. The all-electric SUV is 4,999 mm long, 1,996 mm wide, and 1,600 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Its curb weight is 2,405 kg.

The model is equipped with dual electric motors, a front 220 kW and a rear 288 kW, providing a total power of 508 kW (681 hp), which is good for a top speed of 253 km/h. The electricity will be stored in an NMC battery from CATL; the capacity hasn’t been revealed yet.


Xiaomi announced today that the YU7 will launch in June or July 2025.
