The Arcfox Wendao V9 has officially made its debut, positioning itself as a premium mid-to-large size MPV. Built on the advanced Beijixing architecture, this new model features an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) powertrain, offering a pure electric range of up to 300km and a combined CLTC range of 1,330km. With 3C fast-charging technology, it is expected to hit the market in the second quarter of this year.
In terms of design, the Wendao V9 follows the “ARC-FLOW” philosophy. It features a striking, three-dimensional waterfall-style front grille, complemented by a star-ring light bar and dual LED headlights. Measuring 5,300/1,980/1,850mm with a wheelbase of 3,200mm, the vehicle boasts a dynamic waistline and electric sliding doors, giving it a sophisticated road presence.
The interior emphasizes a minimalist aesthetic, highlighted by 256-color ambient lighting and a large floating central touchscreen. The driver benefits from a two-spoke steering wheel and a dedicated digital instrument cluster. For passengers, the cabin is designed for ultimate comfort, featuring a 22-speaker premium audio system with headrest speakers. The second row is equipped with two independent zero-gravity seats offering 16-point massage, leg rests, ventilation, and graphene heating. The 2+2+3 seating layout also includes a ceiling-mounted screen, fold-out tables, and an onboard refrigerator.
Safety and intelligence are at the forefront, with the vehicle utilizing the Yuanjing intelligent driving system. This supports full-scenario NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) for both urban and highway driving, capable of handling complex traffic scenarios like unprotected left turns and roundabouts.
Under the hood, the Wendao V9 utilizes a 1.5T engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a peak power of 227kW and 320N·m of torque. It achieves a 0-100km/h acceleration time in the 7-second range and maintains a fuel consumption level of around 6L/100km. The vehicle is powered by CATL’s dedicated EREV lithium iron phosphate battery, which supports 3C fast charging, allowing a 20% to 80% charge in just 15 minutes. Additionally, the chassis features magnetorheological damping and an all-aluminum double-wishbone suspension for a refined ride.
