The Huajing S has officially launched, marking a significant milestone as the first flagship model from SGMW’s new high-end intelligent brand, Huajing. The vehicle is available in four trim levels, with a starting price of 149,800 RMB (approximately $20,700 USD) under a limited-time promotional offer, ranging up to 193,800 RMB (approximately $26,800 USD). Built on the Tianyu Architecture L platform, the Huajing S is a large 6-seater SUV that comes standard with Huawei’s comprehensive intelligent solution suite.
In terms of design, the Huajing S adopts a fresh aesthetic language. The front fascia features “Smart Eye” sharp headlights connected by a light bar, integrated with a closed grille to emphasize the vehicle’s width. The sides are characterized by L-shaped air ducts and large polygonal intakes, creating a balanced and substantial visual presence. The vehicle is available in four exterior colors: Ink Black, Suet White, Agate Gray, and Amber Blue.
Measuring 5235/1999/1800mm with a wheelbase of 3105mm, the SUV offers a spacious cabin. The rear features a continuous “Aurora Wing” taillight design that mirrors the front. Practicality is enhanced by a dual-layer sunken trunk, offering a standard capacity of 423L, which expands to 1268L when needed.
Inside, the cabin is available in Ivory Beige or Sandalwood Brown. The cockpit is anchored by a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and an 8.8-inch instrument cluster, with higher trims adding a 15.6-inch rear entertainment screen, all powered by the HarmonyOS Cockpit 5.0 system. Standard tech includes Huawei’s iVCS, dual 5G connectivity, Sentry Mode, remote smartphone control, and NearLink digital keys.
Comfort is a priority: the front seats offer 6-way electric adjustment, 4-way lumbar support, 180-degree recline, and 3-stage ventilation/heating with an 8-point massage function. The second-row captain’s chairs feature 6-way adjustment, 400mm leg rests, and independent armrests, while the third row offers 125-degree electric recline. Higher trims also include an 8.8L hot/cold refrigerator and a 15-speaker Infinity sound system with 7.1.2 panoramic audio.
Safety and intelligence are at the core of the Huajing S. The body structure utilizes integrated hot-formed steel and 2000MPa ultra-high-strength steel. It comes equipped with the Huawei CAS 4.0 collision prevention system, featuring the industry-first in-cabin Limera LiDAR technology. The vehicle runs on the Huawei Qiankun ADS Pro system, supporting urban navigation assistance, with further upgrades to the ADS 5 Pro system planned via OTA updates.
The powertrain, dubbed Lingxi Power 3.0, consists of a 1.5T engine paired with electric motors. The front-wheel-drive model features a 200kW motor with battery options providing a CLTC pure electric range of 200km or 255km. The all-wheel-drive dual-motor variant delivers a combined output of 386kW, offering a CLTC electric range of 235km. The chassis is supported by a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension setup, complemented by an electronically controlled active damping system.
