Haval has officially announced the name of its new flagship SUV: the Great Wall H10. Previously known by the internal code “HX,” the H10 is now entering its final countdown to launch. Positioned above the Haval H9, this heavy-hitter is built on the Guiyuan platform and offers two body lengths with 5-seat and 6-seat configurations. It features a 1.5T or 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, delivering an electric range of up to 180 km.
The Great Wall H10 boasts impressive dimensions: 5,138 mm (or 5,299 mm) in length, 2,050 mm in width, and 1,970 mm in height, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase. The two different lengths likely correspond to the 5-seat and 6-seat versions, with the extra length added behind the C-pillar. Off-road specs are also notable, with approach/departure angles of 24/30 degrees for the 5-seater and 25/26 degrees for the 6-seater.
In terms of design, the H10 adopts a rugged, boxy aesthetic, signaling its focus on both family utility and light off-roading. The front end features clean, horizontal and vertical lines, complemented by distinctive matrix LED headlights. A watchtower-style LiDAR is visible on the roof, suggesting the inclusion of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
The vehicle offers extensive customization options, including various panoramic sunroof sizes, two-tone paint schemes, white roofs, spare tire covers, and electric side steps. The rear features a side-opening tailgate, typical of rugged SUVs.
Under the hood, the H10 is powered by Great Wall’s Hi4 hybrid system. Engine options include a 1.5T (123 kW) and a 2.0T (175 kW). Notably, the vehicle supports an 800V high-voltage platform and includes specialized features like “Crab Walk” mode. It is equipped with a 42.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, providing a pure electric range of 176 km to 180 km.
