On April 17, Hongqi officially launched the 800V Supercharge Editions of the Tiangong 05 and Tiangong 06. The Tiangong 05 800V Supercharge Edition is priced at 171,800 RMB ($23,697), while the Tiangong 06 800V Supercharge Edition starts at 191,800 RMB ($26,455). As annual model updates, these new vehicles primarily feature upgrades to the exterior aesthetics and the electrical system, including the addition of a “Yunmeng Silver” color option and advanced 800V fast-charging technology.
The updated Tiangong 05, now available in the new Yunmeng Silver, offers a total of seven traditional Chinese-inspired color schemes alongside the Tiangong 06. In terms of performance, the new model utilizes an 800V architecture, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes. It boasts a pure electric range of 650 km. Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with the Sinan Intelligent Driving system, which supports full-scenario intelligent parking and combined city/highway driving assistance. Positioned as a mid-size sedan, its dimensions are 4820mm in length, 1915mm in width, and 1480mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900mm.
The new Tiangong 06 SUV also gains the Yunmeng Silver finish and 800V technology, delivering a range of 610 km. Interior highlights include a 14-speaker Dynaudio sound system, a “Queen” co-pilot seat with a reclining function, and a “maternal and infant grade” healthy cabin. Like its sedan sibling, it features full-scenario intelligent parking and city/highway driving assistance. The Tiangong 06 measures 4750mm long, 1900mm wide, and 1640mm high, with a 2900mm wheelbase, positioning it as a mid-size SUV.
