Land Rover has officially unveiled the Range Rover SV Ultra, a vehicle the brand describes as the “pinnacle of luxury and technology.” This new flagship introduces the groundbreaking SV Electrostatic Sound system, exclusive paint finishes, and innovative interior craftsmanship. The model will initially launch with internal combustion and plug-in hybrid powertrains, with a fully electric version expected by the end of the year.
The exterior of the SV Ultra features a bespoke “Titan Silver” paint. This finish utilizes real aluminum flakes and advanced pigment technology to create a liquid-metal mirror texture. Accents in Satin Platinum and silver chrome adorn the grille, fenders, and badging. The vehicle sits on 23-inch alloy wheels with Satin Platinum inserts, featuring a redesigned brand logo on the center caps.
Inside, the cabin debuts a sophisticated Orchid White and Cinder Grey dual-tone palette. Moving toward sustainability, Land Rover has utilized Ultrafabrics, a premium leather-free material, for the upholstery. The vehicle continues to feature the SV-exclusive BASS (Body and Soul Seat) technology, which incorporates four haptic sensors driven by AI to sync physical vibrations with the audio for a truly immersive listening experience. New laser-etched mosaic patterns and precision perforations further elevate the interior’s refined aesthetic.
A major highlight of this edition is the world-first SV Electrostatic Sound system. It features 21 ultra-thin (1mm) diaphragm sensors made from rare-earth-free, recyclable materials. These sensors are integrated into the headrests, backrests, and existing speaker housings. The system boasts a response speed 1,000 times faster than traditional speakers while reducing power consumption and mass by 90%. Combined with the BASS seats, it offers six distinct wellness modes for passengers.
Under the hood, the SV Ultra offers two high-performance options at launch. The P615 V8 variant is powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine delivering 615 horsepower. The P550e plug-in hybrid version combines a 3.0-liter inline-six engine with an electric motor for a total system output of 550 horsepower. A pure electric version is slated to join the lineup before the end of 2026.
